I'm a bit clueless with pc's sorry (my hardware list took me hours to do) I've tried to fix them with HJ but they keep comming back. I've run hijack this & found 'rkfree' & 'bpk' which when I've researched I've discovered are keyloggers. I've gone over a couple of solutions in this forum & ran spybot S&D which again picked up things, which I fixed but the rootkit message from avast keeps reappearing. I deleted it & ran a full scan which picked up more (sorry I can't remember what they were) Hi, I was recently infected (don't know how - possibly son using pc ) I was alerted by avast picking up a rootkit.
